I think this is painting a day number 102 - A painting of a dog that I photographed several years ago in Berkeley. I was fascinated by the mixture of so many breeds, but now when I reduce him to an oil painting he looks like a boxer around the mouth especially. 5" x 7" oil on canvas. $40 includes shipping.
To warm up today I practiced copying Chinese calligraphy characters. Here are some of them painted on little bamboo beads. they have meanings like - peace, destiny, honor, truth, tranquility, and beauty. There is one miniature painting of a dog thrown in with the bunch. 10 hand=painted beads $18 includes shipping.
