Can you guess what song I was listening to when I was finishing up this painting? Hint: Van Morrison. Who was Madam George anyways? Anybody know? I wish I was Madam George. I bet she didn’t have much of a domestic life. Mine is in shambles. The house is in desperate need of a cleaning and it’s raining cats and dogs again. The arena drain has failed once again and the man who repaired it last week after the storm is coming back some time today. Meanwhile my arena is washing bit by bit onto the driveway and down into the street. Here I sit painting while the dirt piles up inside out. To change the subject, I guess it’s portrait month. This is a 5” x 7” oil.
